| | Soda, chilled | 800 millilitres | Kokum syrup | 6 tablespoons | Rock salt (sendha namak) | 1/2 tablespoon | Lemon juice | 1 tablespoon | Black peppercorns, crushed | 5-6 | Fresh mint leaves, torn | 10-12 | Crushed ice , to serve |

Method |

Combine kokum sherbet, rock salt, lemon juice and crushed black peppercorns in a glass jug and stir to mix well.Add soda, stir well, adjust seasoning and pour into individual tall glasses over crushed ice and mint leaves. Serve immediately. |
