SUGARCANE PANAKAM

A nourishing drink of sugarcane juice with a touch of ginger and lemon, served chilled.
Preparation Time : 20-25 minutes
Cooking Time : 10 minutes

Ingredients
Sugarcane juice 3 cups
Ginger 1/4 inch piece
Jaggery (gur), grated 2 teaspoons
Green cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon
Lemon 1
Method
Peel, wash and crush ginger.

Add two cups water to sugar cane juice, ginger, jaggery and boil for five minutes.

Add cardamom powder, mix well and remove. Strain.

Cool and add juice of one lemon. Serve chilled.
